Shipping: Temperature-Controlled
Enjoy year-round temperature-controlled shipping to ensure your wine arrives safely, efficiently, and in perfect condition. Eliminate risk of heat (or cold) damage and the uncertainty that can compromise quality of your Nicolas-Jay wines.
SERVICES INCLUDED
• Orders depart via temperature-controlled trucks from our warehouse on Fridays to hubs located in Georgia, Missouri, New York, and Texas.
• Throughout its journey, your order is maintained around optimal cellar conditions to protect against heat and cold exposure.
• Orders bypass traditional carrier sort facilities, minimizing touchpoints and lowering the risk of damage.
• Once at the hubs, orders are delivered via standard ground services (UPS or FedEx) within an average timeframe of 1-2 days.
Cold packs (30-hr. lifespan) can be inserted at the hubs upon request for final-mile delivery for an additional charge.
• 1-4 bottles: $11
• 5 – 6 bottles: $12
• 7-12 bottles: $16
TO SHIP TEMPERATURE-CONTROL
• Select FedEx or UPS Temperature Control at checkout or contact the Nicolas-Jay team to submit your requested order.
• We recommend shipping to a business address, FedEx Office Print & Ship Center, or a UPS Store when possible to avoid missed delivery attempts.
Note: Additional charges may apply at pickup at UPS Store locations.
• For Friday departure via Temperature Control, orders must be processed by Monday at 3:00pm (PST/PDT).
