Nicolas-Jay Estate is one of the premier wineries in the Willamette Valley, with an inviting tasting room for wine connoisseurs and novices alike. Built into the hillside of Oregon’s wine country, the facility allows gravity flow during harvest, and a twelve-person sorting line for the meticulous sorting of fruit that Jean-Nicolas has employed as winemaker at Domaine Méo-Camuzet. Two separate temperature controlled barrel rooms allow for overvintaging of wine and proper elevage year-round. Our indoor tasting room and outdoor patio invites groups to understand our award-winning wines and vintages, and the people and places that made them.

Nicolas Jay Estate Tasting
10am – 4 pm | Daily
You Join us inside our restored cattle barn for an intimate and personalized presentation of our wines. Lasting 75 minutes, your knowledgeable host will guide you through a seated tasting and share stories of our Burgundian roots, winemaking philosophy, and histories of our iconic vineyards. Each tasting is thoughtfully paired with a selection of cheeses from Briar Rose & Cowbell Fine Cheese. We currently offer two different experiences.
Estate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Experience
$55 Person
Our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Experience showcases our limited production wines from our most recent vintages. Reserve Now
Pinot Noir Library Experience
$75 person
You will taste through a range of Pinot Noir from our library and learn about each distinct, unique vintage. We walk you through the history of Nicolas Jay while tasting wines that date back to our earliest vintages. Reserve Now

Our Policies
- Picnicking or outside food not permitted
- Well-behaved, on leash pets permitted outside on the deck only
- Well-behaved, supervised children permitted. Children are expected to be seated during the tasting and please let us know at time of booking
- Tasting fee refunded upon enrollment in our Confrérie (wine club)

Confrérie Weekend 2024
Saturday & Sunday, June 29-30 2024 | Nicolas-Jay Estate
Embark on a weekend of NJ community as we commence with an exclusive winemaker’s dinner, elegantly hosted on our picturesque deck and inviting loft. Dinner will be served family-style and thoughtfully paired with wines from Nicolas-Jay and Méo-Camuzet.
The following morning, guests are welcomed back to the Estate for an in-depth experience featuring a behind the scenes look at our winemaking process and an exclusive look at our on-going planting efforts: the future of Nicolas-Jay.
The weekend will conclude with an al fresco luncheon before parting ways until next time.
