Hopewell Vineyard in the Times
Nicolas Jay is proud to source Pinot Noir from the 80-acre Hope Well Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills, planted in 2008 to 20-acres of vines, which overlook the Willamette Valley on rich, volcanic soils. The vineyard supplies fruit both for our Willamette Valley Cuvee and Pink Vinyl Rose, and is one of our favorite sites in the AVA. It's proprietor, Mimi Casteel, the daughter of Ted Casteel and Pat Dudley, founders of Bethel Heights Vineyard, has been interviewed on our favorite podcast - I'll Drink to That - and most recently was the subject of this New York Times piece. Happy reading!
